A light blue and white gingham pure cotton shirt in size 16-18 is reworked and hand patched for a unique new look using multi shades of red cotton patches.

Here at Vintage-Patch, there’s nothing we like better than reworking a garment into something new and one of a kind.  For our sleeveless summer patched shirt upcycles, a quality reclaimed cotton shirt (often a designer or heritage brand) is lightly distressed using techniques including dye, fraying and raw edge cut techniques around the sleeves  for a transformative effect.  The garment is then decorated using the  Vintage-Patch range of iron on patches and hand or machine topstitched for durability.

This particular shirt features a small collar, curved hemline and back yoke with loop.  It has been updated with at least 16 red and pink fray edge patches in various plain and print  shades using Vintage-Patch Cotton iron-on Fray Packs for a casual homespun effect.
