After hearing quite a few people say ‘I could never do that’ when they admire the patched jeans I customise, I thought it might be fun to prove them wrong by demonstrating how  simple it is to put a unique stamp on any garment.

Join me at the Orinoco Scrapstore – Banbury on October 18th 2025 from 11am to 1pm for a fun and creative event. Learn how to mend and embellish your favorite denim garments including jeans, jackets and more using iron-on patches and some simple hand stitching. Don’t wear jeans?  No problem – hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts and knitwear can all be transformed.  This hands-on workshop will teach you valuable skills to extend the life of your favourite clothing treasures. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a beginner, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to add a personal touch to their wardrobe. Patching materials are included in the ticket price of £15. Just bring an old pair of jeans, jacket, skirt or other garment to work on and transform. TIP! if you don’t have a suitable pair of jeans, pick some up at your local charity shop for a win, win!
