Set of Dark Grey Plain Cotton Iron on Elbow Knee and Repair Patches by Vintage-Patch. Poly Cotton Blend Fabric and superior washable OEKO-TEX®. adhesive backing, heat activated for application with a domestic iron. Our patches are made using reclaimed fabric when stocks allow,  offering you an eco friendly and thrifty way to lengthen the life of your clothes.  Quantity: Pack of 2 patches

Designer’s note:
“Dark grey, also described as charcoal, steel grey, industrial grey, granite, gunmetal, slate and even off black is one of our most commonly used repair patch colours, owing to the sheer number of grey garments out there, from schoolwear and menswear to a favourite cashmere jumper or jeans.  I think it’s one of the most sophisticated colours out there, and is variously described as neutral, sombre, authoritative, conservative, stylish, or for those with a bit more attitude – gothic!  Our dark grey patches are perfect for an unobtrusive repair for those ‘back to school’ uniform trousers you only just noticed the tear in, or why not use a pair to add some contrast to a slouchy white shirt for a classy new look?  We stock this light to medium weight material new on the roll, but do substitute reclaimed textile when available.”

Shown in oval design, but available in a range of shapes and sizes including Adult, Child and Mini.  Mini size is suitable for smaller childrens’ garments and our popular Square shape is also available in X Large (15x15cm) suitable to cover larger areas of damage or to be cut into smallers shapes.  Simply check out the photo and gallery for shape options guide, and make your selection from the dropdown list when purchasing.

For lightweight garments such as fine wool sweaters, t shirts and shirts, or customising, choose our lightweight cotton or cotton blend fabrics. For heavy duty wear, ie chunky sweaters, jackets, jeans, check out our other products for cotton drill, denim or corduroy patches.

All Vintage-Patch patches are easy to sew and can be trimmed to size with scissors if necessary. (Instructions for iron on process and test sample included in pack).
